QR Code Math

QR Code Math

Today we practiced our addition skills with QR code math. We walked around the class in partners and used the QR scanner app on the ipads. We scanned the math problem in the cupcake on the card around the room. There were 26 math problems to do. First, we had to write down the problem and solve it. Then, we scanned the problem and checked our work. It was fun!

Christmas Book report

Christmas Book Report

We read a book for our next book report. Then we had to fill out an accordion book report where we told about the story elements like character, problem, solution and setting. We had to write and draw pictures. Then, we folded it back up like a package and tied a bow and placed them under our Christmas tree. -2LC foodies

Mother Mary

Mother Mary

In honor of the Feats of the Immaculate Conception on December 8th we created pictures of Mary, the mother of  Jesus. We drew the picture all in oil pastels and learned to blend colors. The pictures are hanging in our classroom to honor Mary. -2LC foodies

Math Christmas Lights

Math Christmas Lights

We made Christmas lights using our fingerprints.  Then, we used glitter to make the string and added math problems of either addition and subtraction or even multiplication to add to the lights. It was fun to add the different problems to the lights.

Baby Jesus Art

Baby Jesus Art

In art class we made pictures of the Baby Jesus in the manger. First, we drew Jesus with our pencils and then used oil pastels to blend the colors. After that, we painted with water color the background and the best part was adding rock salt to the picture to make it look like there are stars in the sky. -2LC foodies
